Our Children only
Appointments

Sarah’s one-on-one counselling is guided by a child-led approach, creating a space where children and teens feel safe, understood, and empowered. Her sessions often include play-based therapy, which allows children to express themselves, explore emotions, and build coping skills in ways that feel natural and engaging.

Sarah also integrates her certified therapy dog, Sage, into sessions. Sage offers more than comfort and cuddles, she helps children in a multitude of ways, such as:

  • Building emotional awareness: children often find it easier to learn about feelings when they can identify them in Sage first, then reflect on their own.

  • Reducing anxiety and stress: the presence of a calm, friendly dog can regulate the nervous system and bring a sense of safety.

  • Encouraging communication: children may feel more comfortable opening up while interacting with Sage.

  • Practicing empathy and social skills: caring for and observing Sage fosters connection and understanding.

Alongside this, Sarah draws on evidence-based modalities, these approaches support children and families in recognising strengths, exploring values, and developing tools for resilience and growth.

With her unique combination of training as a paediatric naturopath and counsellor, Sarah understands the deep connection between a child’s emotional health, physical wellbeing, and family environment. Her mission is to help families feel supported, confident, and connected, while empowering children to thrive on their own terms
